Summary
Renewly does not collect data from the app for the submitted MVP. Renewal records, evidence, queued imports, price history, notes, reminders, and local settings stay on your device by default. Optional Sync+ uses your private iCloud database after purchase and explicit opt-in.
Information You Add To Renewly
Renewly may store the information you choose to enter, import, or create inside the app:
- Subscription names, provider names, categories, and normalized provider IDs.
- Renewal dates, trial dates, billing cadence, amount, currency, notes, and confidence state.
- Receipt text, screenshots, PDFs, URLs, files, OCR output, camera-scanned text, or Share Extension handoffs that you choose to import.
- Parsed-field provenance showing which evidence supports a renewal value.
- Price history, reminder events, cancellation guide state, usage review events, edit history, and export/import data.
This app data is stored locally on your device by default. Peter Hlavatik does not operate a backend that receives your renewal content for the submitted MVP.
Optional iCloud Sync
If you purchase Sync+ Annual and explicitly enable iCloud sync, Renewly stores app data in your private iCloud database using Apple's CloudKit infrastructure. iCloud sync is controlled by your Apple ID and iCloud settings. Turning Sync+ off keeps Renewly local on the next launch.
Purchases
Renewly uses Apple's StoreKit for Renewly in-app purchases, including Renewly Pro Lifetime and Renewly Sync+ Annual. Apple processes payment information. Renewly checks entitlement state only for Renewly products and cannot read subscriptions purchased in other developers' apps.
Notifications
Renewly schedules local notifications only after you allow notifications and create reminders. Notification content is generated from your renewal data on device.
Imports, OCR, And Evidence
Imports are user-initiated through manual entry, paste, file import, screenshot/PDF import, URL evidence, live camera text scan, OCR, or Share Extension handoff. Renewly does not connect to your bank account or mailbox.
Analytics And Tracking
Analytics are off by default. Renewly 26.06.10 does not include third-party analytics, advertising, crash-reporting, or tracking SDKs. Renewly does not track you across apps or websites and does not sell personal information.
Cancellation Guides
Renewly includes bundled cancellation guide metadata. Sync+ can unlock verified live guide updates when a guide feed is configured. That feed is for guide metadata, not your personal renewal data, and the submitted app has no production guide feed configured.
Support Email
If you contact support by email, your email address and the content of your message are received so Peter Hlavatik can respond. Do not send sensitive receipts, payment details, or private account credentials by email.
Website Hosting
This website is hosted on Vercel. Vercel may process routine request information such as IP address, browser user agent, requested URL, and timestamps for hosting, security, and operations. See Vercel's Privacy Policy for details.
Data Export And Deletion
Pro Lifetime can export Renewly JSON from Settings. Export keeps renewal records, evidence text, source references, provenance, and history, but omits device-local evidence file paths that would not be portable to another install. You can delete renewals in the app. Settings also includes Delete All Local Data for local renewals, queued imports, reminders, managed evidence files, and local privacy and Sync+ preferences.
Children's Privacy
Renewly is not intended for children under 13. Renewly does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information through support email, contact p.hlavatik@gmail.com.
Your Rights
Because Renewly app data is local by default, most access, correction, export, and deletion actions happen directly on your device. If you contacted support by email, you may request access to or deletion of support correspondence by emailing p.hlavatik@gmail.com. Peter Hlavatik will respond within a reasonable time and in accordance with applicable law.
Apple App Privacy Details
For the submitted MVP, the App Store Connect privacy answer is: no data collected from this app. Tracking is not used. No data types are linked to you for developer collection. This should be reviewed before adding analytics, crash reporting, account systems, developer-operated support upload, mailbox OAuth, bank linking, or any third-party SDK that collects data.
What Renewly Does Not Do
- No bank aggregation.
- No budgeting or net-worth tracking.
- No inbox OAuth.
- No automated cancellation.
- No bill negotiation.
- No ads.
- No automatic app-usage surveillance.
Changes To This Policy
This policy may be updated when Renewly changes its data practices, adds services, or needs to reflect legal requirements. The effective date will be updated when material changes are made.
